Recent Florida case law provides practitioners with insight

The 2017 Edition of Florida Laws Governing Business Entities provides users with 45 new case notes that summarize recent judicial interpretations of the law from state and federal courts.

These case notes, along with five full-text cases regarding constructive process, derivative suits, the doctrine of intra-corporate conspiracy, judicial dissolution and arbitration, provide a comprehensive view of how Florida’s business law is being interpreted by the courts.

The 2017 Edition of Florida Laws Governing Business Entities features a dozen newly enacted or amended statutes incorporating all changes made through the end of the 2017 Legislative Session, with changes listed in the Table of Sections Affected. New case notes can be found in the Table of New Annotations.

Other resources include a companion CD-ROM containing more than 70 Florida forms for incorporation/formation, qualification, mergers, dissolution, and name reservation for all entity types. A listing of the forms and contact information for the Florida Secretary of State/Division of Corporations can be found in the book’s forms appendix.

Florida Laws Governing Business Entities is available as a softbound book or as an ebook, compatible with dedicated e-reader devices, computers, tablets and smartphones that use e-reader software or applications. It is also available on the LexisNexis Digital Library.
